Okay, I have 2 images "Top.gif" and "Bottom.gif" I put them in the css but I don't know where (and in which files) to put the code to make them at the top and bottom of each post, box, etc.

Hmmmm.... that sounds like the table wrapper thing.

Well... that mod won't.

To build "table wrappers" into the earlier version.... you have to edit every template file, as the tables are all opened individually in each template.

In 6.2, the $tbopen and $tbclose calls have been moved into templates of their own.... so you can change it in two places and you're done.

It is possible with earlier version. Allen did it with Bookie's Blam templates. But it's more difficult.

I've been putting [6.2] in the title of the mods I write if they only work with Threads 6.2 (and most should work when the next version comes out).

For 6.1.x I recommend that you use the Bookies Blam template and not the Table Wrappers mod that I wrote. You could adapt Table Wrapper to work with 6.1.x like Josh said, but it would be a real pain to do it. Download Bookies Blam and take a look at the templates directory after you unzip the file. To make the Table Wrappers work with 6.1.x you'd have to edit every template that AllanAyres did...

Sometimes you don't appreciate what someone else has done until you see what they had to do to make something happen. In the corse of my own design work I've gained a greater appreciation and respect for AllanAyres and his mods
